Eight Years!

Eight years ago today, my husband and I were married. I truly believe God sent the 'perfect' man for me. No, I am not calling my husband perfect, because I know he's not, just like I'm not perfect. But, I know our marriage was designed by God. I was 25 when we got married and he was 27, to some people, that's not exactly young. But, it was the right time for us.  We've had many good times over the years and some not so good times, but God has always been there through it all. I've seen my husband's character clearly these eight years. He loves God. He loves sharing God's Word with others, especially children. Working in a children's ministry isn't always easy, but he keeps on for the Lord. He has compassion that moves him. He has a tender heart. He has convictions, he firmly stands on. He is a very hard working man. He loves his family. I am thankful that he's leading our children to follow God and walk with him. He's very smart, and I know there's not much he couldn't do if he tried. I love him, and I'm thankful for the eight years we've had together. We've welcomed five children into our family, and I look forward to what God has in store for my family.
